In Brandon's Words · Why I Created The Mirror
There was a season when I looked like I had it all — a successful practice, a beautiful family, respect. Inside, I was depressed, burned out, disconnected from my body and my wife, carrying a shame I didn't know how to name. Like so many people, I believed I was the only one.
Everything changed the day I finally told the truth. I expected judgment. Instead, people started finding me — after podcasts, after circles, after speaking events — quietly saying, ‘I've never told anyone this,’ or ‘I thought I was the only one.’
That's when I understood: I had never been alone. I had only been isolated. And those are not the same thing.
I created The Mirror not to fix you, coach you, or hand you another strategy — but to give you what so few of us have ever had: to be deeply seen by a man who understands.
They see something in me they think is luck or magic. It's not. It's them. They're just seeing themselves in someone who stopped hiding.
